Hi again,

Now I see what U are saying. The short answer is NO.

U cant include the App-ID in the From and definitely the to.

The reason for that exclusion is that if several devices use the same App-ID then the system cant distinguish them.

Do U have a specific use case for which U want to use that.

Thanks

George

Subject: Re: Is App-ID authorized in 'fr' & 'to' parameters of message

Hello George,

Thanks for your answer.

I checked 10.1.1.2.2 "Application Entity Registration procedure" where it is indicated that the 'From' can only contain AE-ID-Stem or NULL while the App-ID is located in the content of the message.

Moreover I understood that the App-ID is not a sub set of the AE-ID-Stem so I still have the doubt if it is authorized or not to have the 'From' of a request which contains the App-ID.

In addition the sections 8.3 of the TS118101 and 118104 don't indicate if the 'To' can contain the App-ID.

Thanks for your help

Best regards

Amaury DELORME
